- Perform tasks involving physical labour on building, highway, and construction/agricultural projects.
- Potentially be responsible for company vehicle and being driver for the site team.
- Operate plant, hand and power tools and a variety of other equipment and instruments.
- Operations as per project requirement, such as: site preparation/clearing; excavation of holes/trenches; backfill or concreting holes/trenches; erection of posts/barrier posts and erection of fences/barriers.
Your duties will include:
- Maintaining the highest standards of safe workmanship and follow good working practice within Health, Safety and Environmental regulations.
- Carrying out the erection of fencing and safety fencing and completing works to the highest standard as required.
- Daily travel to site, and possibilities of periods of working away from home.
- Working outdoors.
- Load and unload vehicles with supplies, equipment and construction materials.
- Move tools, equipment and construction materials to and from work areas.
- Perform related work as required in accordance with the Quality Manual.
- Any other task reasonably instructed by Site Foreman or Management.
RATE VARIABLE BASED ON EXPERIENCE
