Position Requirements
- A strong interest in a career as part of our hospitality Team. It is important that the candidates can demonstrate a willingness to learn and have a positive attitude within a very busy environment. Training will be provided.
- Calmness under pressure will be important.
- Excellent attention to detail and observational skills as this position requires to be alert for signs of safety and security breaches.
- Reliable with excellent customer care skills.
- The applicant must be eligible to Work in the UK and be fit and healthy to meet the demands of the role.
Main Duties
- Night Porter is responsible for the safety and security of the Castle and its guests overnight.
- Light duties to fulfil throughout the shift such as resetting the dining room for breakfast, polishing cutlery, plates and glasses, serving early continental breakfasts and checking out early departures, restocking all fridges and other duties as required by the Duty Manager.
