We are equally proud of our wine list, showcasing well over 100 of our favourite wines from all over the world. Both are seasonal and constantly changing to keep things exciting and interesting.
The Role, Responsibilities & You:
We are looking for a hard working and professional individual to fill a part time front of house role, providing casual but high quality, friendly and knowledgeable service. You will be someone with a great personality and attitude to work, as well as having excellent customer service skills and a willingness to learn.
The role will encompass all aspects of service, learning the menu inside out and quickly getting to grips with the wine list to provide recommendations and answer any questions for our guests
Some restaurant service experience is essential, a genuine interest and basic knowledge in wine will also be a great advantage and an ability to work in a fast paced & busy environment is a must.
On offer & requirements:
This is a permanent, part time position, number of shifts/hours per week may vary depending on trade levels & availability of other staff, but can be discussed and are negotiable to an extent. Additional shifts will be available to cover leave/events/increased trade etc.
Shifts will however be based on evenings, including Fridays and/or Saturdays, some Saturday lunchtimes & occasional Sundays, so flexibility is important - you will be expected to be available for each of these on a weekly basis unless on annual leave, by prior arrangement.
Please note this is not a term time position and we would expect any student applicants to be available all year round, particularly during busy periods.
- £13-£17+ per hour - inclusive of £10-£12.71 per hour based on age and/or experience plus tips package in the range of £3-£6 per hour.
