What we're looking for;
Due to continued growth, we are looking for Butchers & Butcher’s Assistants to join our team.
You will be working in a busy environment with a varied role covering the preparation, presentation and pre-packing of products, as well as maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the butchery fridges and work areas.
For the Butcher’s Assistant position, no previous experience is essential as full on-the-job training will be provided. A good work ethic and willingness to learn are essential.
For the Butcher position, previous experience working in a busy butchers or supermarket butchery department is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Cutting and preparing meat to a high standard of presentation
- Preparing produce for the pre-pack areas.
- Ensuring all produce is displayed to company standards.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation within the butchery area.
- Working safely at all times & as part of a team
What we're looking for;
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- A keen interest in developing a career within the butchery / retail industry.
- Ability to organise and prioritise work effectively.
- Ability to work well in a busy environment.
- High standards of personal presentation and hygiene.
Hours;
Full-time permanent positions available, working approximately 37.5 to 40+ hours per week. Part time hours can also be discussed if this suits.
The Butchery team work Monday-Saturday, with one set day off during the week. No Sundays required.
