Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and reliable Citylink Coach Drivers to operate our vehicles on Citylink contracted routes. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, timely, and comfortable journeys for passengers while maintaining high standards of vehicle safety and customer service. Responsibilities
- Safely operate passenger coaches along designated routes, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations.
- Conduct pre-journey safety checks on the vehicle, including brakes, tyres, lights, and other essential systems.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, alighting, and answering queries professionally.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding route updates or delays.
- Ensure compliance with all road safety laws and company policies at all times.
Requirements
- Valid catd driver’s licence with 6 points or less.
- Proven experience as a commercial driver, preferably in passenger transport or delivery roles.
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and passenger comfort.
- Fluency in English with good communication skills to interact professionally with passengers and team members.
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
- Ability to operate vehicles in various weather conditions and urban environments.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during shifts. This position is ideal for motivated individuals who take pride in their driving abilities and delivering exceptional service to passengers while ensuring safety standards are met at all times.
Pay: £15.50-£18.00 per hour
