Job Summary:
Based from our Springburn distribution centre , the delivery team ensure that we can offer next-day delivery across Scotland. As a Fresco Foodservice Delivery Driver, you will be required to handle, unload and deliver a wide variety of frozen, chilled and ambient products to our customers delivery point whilst providing excellent customer service.
Role Responsibilities:
- Providing excellent customer service when delivering goods to customers
- Following a specific route as outlined by the transport department
- Daily checking of delivery vehicles including fridge and tail lift
- Adhering to all Health and Safety & Tacho Regulations
- Handling delivery dockets, paperwork and cash & completing paperwork correctly
- Communicating with transport office and the telesales team
- Avoiding damages to stock through proper manual handling
Skills and Experience Required:
- Must be flexible with working hours
- HGV Class 2/ Category C licence
- Up-to-date CPC
- Digi card
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude to work
- Be able to work using your own initiative
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Preferred Experience:
- 6 months multidrop experience preferred
- Experience with temperature controlled lorries (fridge experience) preferred.

Pay: £36,400.00-£40,000.00 per year
