Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, mobility, and nutrition, ensuring their comfort and dignity are maintained at all times
- Support the implementation of personalized care plans tailored to each individual’s specific needs and preferences
- Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a positive environment for clients in care homes or at home
- Maintain accurate records of care provided, including updates to care plans and client progress reports
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure seamless delivery of care services
- Use IT systems efficiently to document care activities and update client information securely
- Drive company vehicles when necessary to support home care visits or transport clients safely
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is highly desirable
- Valid driving license and ability to drive safely in various conditions
- Strong communication skills in English to interact clearly with clients, families, and colleagues
- Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately and adapt to changing needs
- Good IT literacy for recording data and managing electronic health records
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a caring attitude and active listening abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, or on-call as needed
