We are looking for an excellent Support Worker to work in our Abergele service supporting vulnerable young adults between the ages of 16-18. You will be helping them in every aspect of their active daily lives. This including, daily living skills such as cooking, shopping, cleaning to promote a healthy environment and prepare them for independence. Support with finance management and budgeting. Sourcing, creating and attending activities to build social connections and build life skills. Support with relationships, visiting health professionals, and securing engagement with education, training, employment or volunteering.
We provide support 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. Shifts are a mixture of early, late and waking nights. Full and Part time positions available.
You will need: A genuine interest in delivering high quality care to young people, clear and confident communication skills, a ‘can do’ attitude and a willingness to assist people with what is important to them. The ability to remain calm under pressure and good IT skills.
