Chung Wah is a Chinese supermarket located in Liverpool.
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Shop Assistant to join our busy supermarket team. This role is essential in helping us deliver excellent service to our customers while keeping our store well-stocked, clean, and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities:
- Replenish and display stock throughout the store, ensuring shelves are neat, tidy, and fully stocked.
- Keep the warehouse and storage areas clean, safe, and organized.
- Check incoming deliveries carefully to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Provide friendly, helpful service to customers, answering questions and assisting with purchases.
- Follow all health, safety, and food hygiene standards while working in the store.
- Work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of daily supermarket operations.
Requirements:
- Previous supermarket, retail, or stockroom experience is helpful but not essential - full training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and good organization skills.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused.
- Reliable and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
