Working in partnership with financial advisers, wealth managers and family offices, they create and deliver innovative investment solutions designed to provide consistent, stable returns through a defensive and transparent investment approach.
Working pattern: Hybrid – minimum three days per week in the office.
Roles & Responsibilities
Although the role does not have formal line management responsibility, you will play an important role in supporting Associates and Assistants, reviewing work, providing practical guidance and helping to ensure excellent client outcomes.
You will also contribute to process improvements and support the implementation of operational, product and business change.
Support the day-to-day flow of work across the team, ensuring tasks are prioritised and completed within agreed timescales.
Review complex work completed by Associates and Assistants, providing guidance and acting as a first point of support for operational queries.
Review and approve data change requests, including sensitive client and adviser firm information.
Conduct final reviews of client onboarding processes, including due diligence checks and sign-off.
Review encashments and transfers completed by colleagues.
Review and validate cash management entries and act as a first approver for CASS-compliant client money and asset reconciliations.
Review and approve periodic dealing events, including subscriptions and withdrawals.
Support the processing of adviser and service fee payments.
Produce and distribute accurate and timely client, adviser and management information reporting.
Support the allocation and oversight of team enquiries, handling more complex operational queries where required.
Provide feedback on team activity, risks, issues and areas where additional support may be needed.
Contribute to process improvements, operational efficiency and enhancements to the client experience.
Support ad-hoc projects and wider business initiatives as required.
Experience & Qualifications
Experience in a client operations, investment operations or financial services environment; experience within asset management is desirable.
A strong commitment to delivering excellent client outcomes.
A high level of accuracy, diligence and accountability and ability to remain calm under pressure.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
A dependable, proactive and collaborative approach.
The confidence to take ownership and make sound decisions.
A genuine interest in improving processes and supporting positive change.
