Job Title: Warehouse Packing Operator – Export & Specialist Packing
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Packing Operator to join our growing logistics and warehouse team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in specialist packing techniques, particularly for international and export shipments, ensuring goods are packed securely and in compliance with overseas shipping requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Pack products safely and efficiently for domestic and international shipments.
- Prepare specialist export packaging, including custom crating, protective wrapping, cushioning, and securing of goods.
- Ensure all packing complies with international shipping regulations and customer specifications.
- Select appropriate packing materials based on product type, size, weight, fragility, and destination.
- Label, mark, and prepare shipments in accordance with export documentation and carrier requirements.
- Inspect products prior to packing and report any damage or discrepancies.
- Work closely with warehouse, logistics, and shipping teams to meet dispatch schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of packed shipments and packing materials used.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and follow all health and safety procedures.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including stock handling, goods-in, and inventory management when required.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse packing role, with a strong focus on export and overseas shipments.
- Knowledge of specialist packing techniques for fragile, high-value, oversized, or sensitive goods.
- Understanding of international shipping requirements and export packaging standards.
- Ability to interpret packing instructions, shipping documentation, and customer specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Forklift license or warehouse equipment certification.
- Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software.
