Overview
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities, equipment, and systems. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose problems.
- Conduct welding repairs and fabrications as needed to support facility maintenance projects.
- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks and system controls.
- Supervise maintenance tasks carried out by team members or contractors, ensuring safety standards are met.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance and reporting purposes.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in repair and maintenance tasks.
- Electrical experience including wiring, circuit troubleshooting, and working with schematics.
- Proficiency in welding techniques for metal fabrication and repairs.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in industrial automation systems.
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively coordinate with team members and vendors.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with supervising experience in maintenance or technical teams.
- Exceptional customer service orientation to address internal client needs professionally.
