MIG Welder / Fabricator
Location: Near Dungannon, Co. Tyrone
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £16.00 - £18.00 per hour (depending on experience)
We are a well-established and growing engineering and fabrication business based near Dungannon, Co. Tyrone. They specialise in the manufacture of bespoke equipment for the quarry, recycling and process industries, supplying customers across the UK and Ireland.

The Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced MIG Welder / Fabricator to join a busy manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will fabricate and weld heavy steel components and assemblies, working from engineering drawings to produce high-quality finished products.
Key Responsibilities
- MIG welding mild steel components to a high standard.
- Fabricating heavy steel structures from engineering drawings.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings accurately.
- Preparing materials, cutting, fitting and assembling components.
- Operating fabrication equipment and hand tools safely.
- Inspecting completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Working as part of a production team to meet manufacturing deadlines.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Following all health and safety procedures.
Skills & Experience Essential
- Previous experience as a MIG Welder/Fabricator.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience welding and fabricating heavy steel.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
- Experience within quarry, recycling, structural steel or heavy plant manufacturing.
- Experience using fabrication machinery and workshop equipment.
- Forklift or overhead crane experience (advantageous but not essential).

- Wednesday: 8:00am - 5:30pm
- Thursday: 8:00am - 5:30pm
- Friday: 8:00am - 3:00pm
