Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and proactive SIA Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, visitors, and assets. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring access points, maintaining a secure environment, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities
- Manage access control by verifying identification and authorizations for all visitors, staff, and contractors.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or breaches.
- Monitor CCTV systems continuously to observe activity and detect suspicious behavior or incidents.
- Respond promptly and effectively to incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid when necessary.
- Enforce venue policies, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and loss prevention procedures.
- Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and access records for accountability.
- Assist with crowd management during events or busy periods to ensure safety and order.
Requirements
- Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) license as a Door Supervisor or equivalent certification.
- Experience in surveillance techniques and CCTV operation to monitor activity effectively.
- Knowledge of loss prevention strategies to deter theft or unauthorized access.
- Ability to respond calmly and efficiently in emergency situations, including administering first aid if qualified.
- Strong communication skills with a professional and approachable demeanor.
- Physical fitness to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods comfortably.
- A proactive attitude with keen observation skills and attention to detail.
