Duties
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate learning activities that foster curiosity, creativity, and social skills among children.
- Supervise children during play, mealtime, rest periods, and outdoor activities to ensure safety at all times.
- Build strong relationships with children and their families through effective communication and regular updates on progress.
- Manage daily routines, including attendance, hygiene practices, and behavior management strategies.
- Lead and support fellow staff members by sharing best practices in early childhood education and childcare management.
- Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and any incidents or concerns that arise.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards related to early childhood education.
Qualifications
- Level 3 early years qualification
- Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting, demonstrating a deep understanding of early childhood development principles.
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with children, parents, colleagues, and external partners.
- Knowledge of childcare regulations, health & safety policies, and best practices in nursery education.
- Ability to motivate children through engaging activities that promote learning and social interaction.
