As Café Supervisor, you’ll support the Café Manager in daily operations, playing a vital role ensuring top-notch customer satisfaction and leading staff to consistently achieve company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
o Assist in daily café operations, including opening/closing, inventory management, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
o Train, supervise, and mentor staff to uphold high service and product quality standards.
o Manage labour costs efficiently by working at an appropriate staffing level, in line with sales and set targets. Being proactive, not only reactive to schedule changes when running shifts.
o Effectively support conflict resolution should it arise. Know how to respond appropriately to both staff members and customers when needed, leading by example.
o Ensure a positive customer experience by addressing needs, fostering a welcoming atmosphere and resolving queries.
o Monitor sales and assist with daily cash handling.
o Collaborate with management on marketing strategies and promotional activities to boost sales and brand visibility.
o Guarantee the highest quality of food and beverages meeting company standards, promptly addressing any issues. Can be achieved by being able to work on each section, i.e., barista/cook, and using the training tools provided.
o Work closely with the Café Manager and team to promote a cooperative work environment and achieve shared goals.
o Resolve any maintenance issues onsite should they occur, using the provided workflow sheets and contacts for appropriate action. Following the correct protocol and notifying the correct persons.

Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, bartending, or barista work.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
- Experience managing teams and fostering a positive work environment.
- Familiarity with hospitality operations within hotel or restaurant environments is advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectively.
Pay: From £13.51 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 35.0 per week
