Workshop HGV & Plant Technician
Location: Northampton
Salary: Up to £22/hour + 1½x overtime | 40 hours/week | Day shifts (Mon–Fri)

Role Overview:
We are looking for a Mobile/Workshop HGV & Plant Technician to maintain, repair, and diagnose HGVs and specialist plant equipment both in the workshop and on-site. The role includes attending breakdowns, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on HGVs and plant equipment.
- Respond to on-site breakdowns and provide mobile repair services.
- Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards.
- Use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve faults efficiently.
- Complete accurate service records and paperwork.
- Deliver excellent customer service.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician or Plant Fitter.
- NVQ Level 3 in HGV Maintenance or Plant.
- IRTEC certification desirable.
- Strong understanding of HGV systems.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible, with the ability to work varying hours and travel as needed.
