Harmony Health is a nurse-led care company providing personalised, person-centred support. As our team continues to grow, we are looking for dedicated Carers and Support Workers to join our neurodiverse care team in London.
We are currently looking for caring and reliable support staff to work with a wonderful, active 11-year-old boy, providing support within his family home and out in the community.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children, supporting their development, encouraging independence and helping them enjoy everyday activities.
He is non-verbal but able to communicate, and we are looking for staff who are patient, observant and willing to understand and respond to his individual ways of communicating.
The Role
You will provide 6 hours of support each day, Monday to Friday, with hours varying between term time and school holidays.
Term Time
Monday–Friday | 2:30 pm–8:00 pm
5.5 hours per day
27.5 hours per week

Monday–Friday | 9:00 am–3:00 pm
6 hours per day
30 hours per week
What Will You Be Supporting With?
Your role will be centred around creating a safe, positive and enjoyable environment, while encouraging confidence, communication and independence.
You will support with:
Collecting him from school and safely bringing him home
Enjoying activities in the community, such as parks and outdoor play
Swimming
Soft play
Visiting petting zoos and other enjoyable activities
️ Supporting with mealtimes
Taking part in activities and play within the home
Encouraging communication and helping him express his needs and choices
Providing patient, compassionate and consistent support throughout the day
