Fire Stopper Required!
RecruitEasy are looking for an experienced Fire Stopper to work for our client based in Exeter, Devon.
Duration: Temp-to-Perm
Start Date: immediate
Pay Rate: £16.00 - £20.00 Per Hour - paid weekly!
Pay rate depending on experience and/or tickets.
**We do not use umbrella companies to process your pay!**
Job Roles:
- Install fire stopping systems within walls, floors and ceilings to prevent the spread of fire and smoke.
- Safely use a range of hand and power tools to complete installation work.
- Work alongside carpenters, electricians and other trades to ensure fire stopping measures are correctly integrated.
- Fabricate materials as required for specific installations.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with current fire safety regulations and standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment at all times.
Requirements:
- Proven fire stopping experience with checkable references.
- Good working knowledge of fire stopping systems and installation methods.
- Competent in the safe use of hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid UK driving licence preferred.
- NVQ Level 2 (advantageous).
- CSCS Card essential.
