Victoria Motors Ltd is one of the leading used car dealers in Dorset stocking 100 low mileage cars. Family run with a friendly and relaxed working atmosphere. Recently moved into new purpose built facilities on the main A30 between Shaftesbury and Sherborne. The role is extremely varied with days consisting of lots of different tasks. These things include
- car cleaning and valeting with machine polishing [training provided]
- application of paint protection products [training provided]
- condition appraisals [training provided]
- pre delivery inspections including checking engine levels and tyre pressures
- driving with deliveries collections and logistics
- photography
- social media contribution if desired
- use of online dealer management program
- site maintenance
Working hours are 9am - 6pm 5 days per week. Hourly pay will be anything between £12.71 -£13.71 depending on experience, ability and the quality of the candidate. We would expect candidates to have the below qualities-
- organisation skills
- Basic IT skills
- tidy worker
- willing to learn new skills and develop
- be able to use tools and equipment
- trustworthy
- have a full uk driving licence
- able to undertake physical work
- basic understanding of cars ie. checking levels and replacing basic parts
- desire to work well with the team to achieve company goals together
Experience in the industry is welcome but not essential and training will be given in areas that are required. We are looking for someone looking to build a career in the industry and stay part of the team for years to come!
