Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Zumba Teacher to deliver engaging dance fitness classes as a self-employed instructor. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for fitness, dance, and motivating others to achieve their health and wellness goals. This role offers flexibility, allowing you to organise your own schedule while inspiring participants through energetic and fun Zumba sessions. A strong understanding of anatomy and sports coaching experience will enhance your ability to tailor classes effectively and ensure participant safety.
Duties
- Design and deliver high-energy Zumba classes that cater to diverse fitness levels and age groups
- Motivate participants to stay engaged and achieve their personal fitness objectives
- Ensure all classes are conducted in a safe environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines
- Provide modifications for participants with varying abilities or physical limitations
- Maintain a professional appearance and behaviour, fostering an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere
- Promote upcoming classes through social media or other marketing channels to attract new attendees
- Keep up-to-date with the latest fitness trends and incorporate innovative routines into classes as appropriate
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sports coaching or fitness instruction, preferably with dance-based programmes
- Teaching experience, with the ability to communicate instructions clearly and effectively
- Knowledge of human anatomy relevant to exercise techniques and injury prevention
- Passion for dance, fitness, and motivating others to lead healthier lifestyles
- Organised with good time management skills to plan classes efficiently
- Self-motivated with entrepreneurial spirit, capable of managing your own schedule and client base
- Certification in fitness instruction or dance teaching is essential
