Overview
The Albex Group (Kent Foods Limited) is seeking to recruit an experienced Warehouse / Fork Lift Operator at our depot in Hunslet, Leeds.
The successful candidates will be responsible for a range of warehouse duties which will include:
- Overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including:
- Picking of stock.
- Making up orders.
- Loading and unloading of vehicles.
- General housekeeping duties within the warehouse.
Experience of order picking is desirable although full training will be provided. This role will require you to be physically fit as it may involve manual lifting. You will be required to be computer literate, hardworking whilst adhering to Health and Safety guidelines.
The ideal candidate must have: -
- Forklift License - Counter Balance and VNA.
- A Flexible approach and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Monitoring and enforcing compliance with company policies, accept accountability for Health & Safety compliance and regulations.
- Ability to communicate with colleagues to enhance the working operation.
- Have previous experience in a similar environment.
The role is based on a 48-hour working week.
You will be expected to undertake working hours which are necessary to meet the needs of the business and therefore a flexible approach is required.

- 04:30 – 14:30 Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Warehouse Supervisor: 1 year (required)
- And/or…
- Prepared to undergo relevant training.
Licence/Certification:
- Counter Balance Fork Lift License (required)
- VNA Truck License (preferred) – training can be given.
