We’re looking for an experienced, reliable, and enthusiastic Chef to take full responsibility for running our small but busy kitchen at our friendly seasonal holiday park.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in producing quality food, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
As our sole chef, you will be responsible for all aspects of the kitchen, including:
● Preparing and cooking a varied menu to a consistently high standard.
● Managing daily kitchen operations.
● Stock ordering and stock control.
● Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
● Menu planning and seasonal specials.
● Minimising waste and controlling food costs.
● Keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and inspection-ready.
About You
You’ll have:
● Previous experience working as a chef in a busy kitchen.
● The confidence and ability to work independently.
● Strong organisational and time management skills.
● A positive, can-do attitude and a passion for producing great food.
● Knowledge of food safety regulations.
● Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays during the busy season.
