The Events and Groups Manager is responsible for maximising revenue and delivering exceptional guest experiences across all meetings, events, and group business at their property. This role oversees the full sales, planning and contracting cycle of group and event enquiries — ensuring alignment with the hotels overall commercial strategy, brand standards, and service excellence.

Essential Skills and Exeperience
- Minimum 2–5 years’ experience in hotel meetings & events, group sales, or conference planning
- Strong knowledge of Radisson systems (Delphi, EMMA, Opera) or similar hotel platforms
- Proven ability to drive revenue and manage client relationships
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Commercial awareness with a results-driven mindset

The Events and Groups Manager is responsible for supporting the generation of revenue and the successful planning and contracting of all meetings, events, and group business within the hotel.
Key duties include:
- Managing and converting meetings, events, and group enquiries to achieve revenue targets
- Coordinating all event and group logistics from enquiry to post-event follow-up
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships to drive repeat business
- Collaborating with Sales, Revenue, and Operations teams to deliver unified commercial objectives while promoting a collaborative, high-performance culture
- Ensure optimal pricing, inventory controls and yield strategies are in place, giving periodic feedback to commercial teams on possible amendments to support driving overall performance
- Conduct or support with client site inspections, tastings and planning meetings
- Prepare detailed and accurate Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and event summaries for operations teams
- Ensuring all activities align with company brand standards and service expectations
- Ensure contracts, deposits, and billing processes are completed in accordance with company procedures
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting for M&E and group segments.
- Monitor event profitability and manage costs effectively.
- Analyse performance data to identify trends and opportunities for revenue growth.
- Support monthly commercial reviews and business performance discussions
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting within company systems
- Monitoring performance, guest satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for growth
- Delivery of BDRC scores and addressing any unperforming areas that require focus/attention
