SBZ Corporation is the privately-owned global organisation specialising in the formulation, manufacture, and global distribution of fuel and lubricant additives, base oils, and speciality products for the oil industry. We offer an extensive portfolio of products to meet the needs of international oil groups, fuel storage, supply terminals, fuel blenders, lubricant manufacturers, and fuel wholesalers worldwide.
We are looking for a reliable, motivated and safety-conscious Plant Operator to join our Production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with production or engineering experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of quality, safety and efficiency.
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will play a key role in the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing plant. Working closely with colleagues across Production, Customer Operations and the Laboratory, you will help ensure customer orders are produced accurately, safely and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate plant equipment safely and efficiently to meet production targets.
- Maintain and update the production pipeline using Orderwise.
- Carry out routine maintenance on plant and equipment and report any faults or breakdowns.
- Maintain appropriate stock levels and liaise with Customer Operations regarding production requirements.
- Ensure the plant is kept clean, organised and operating to a high standard.
- Follow all company processes, procedures and production systems.
- Maintain accurate production, maintenance and compliance records.
- Ensure products are correctly labelled and stored.
- Carry out forklift safety checks and maintain associated records.
- Report equipment failures, operational issues and safety concerns promptly.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
- Communicate effectively with Production, Laboratory, Customer Service and other departments.

Qualifications
- Forklift Truck (FLT) licence.
- IOSH, NEBOSH or other recognised Health & Safety qualification.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- First Aid Certificate.
Working Hours
- 44 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts, 4 days per week
- Rotating shift pattern:
- Week 1: 4x Day shifts (6am to 6pm)
- Week 2: 4x Night shifts (6pm to 6am)
- 1-hour unpaid lunch break per shift

Pay: £29,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
