The Role
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Factory Fittings Operative to join our manufacturing team. You’ll play a key role in the final stages of production, fitting ironmongery and ensuring each product meets our high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Fitting ironmongery such as handles, locks, and hinges to timber windows and doors
- Installing gaskets and weather seals
- Fitting casements and sliding sashes to frames
- Wrapping and preparing finished products for delivery
- Assisting with loading/unloading lorries
- Supporting other departments as required
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in the window and door industry (Timber, PVC, or Aluminium)
- Skilled in using hand tools and fitting ironmongery
- A good work ethic and strong attention to detail
- Reliable, responsible, and physically fit (comfortable with heavy lifting)
- Friendly, team-oriented attitude
- Good spoken and written English
