Combined Medical Services Ltd are seeking to appoint already qualified Urgent Care Assistants (FREC4) to join our team on a bank staff basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high standards of patient care, monitoring, and support during transport.
- Administer pre-hospital care and assistance within the scope of your FREC 4 qualification.
- Safely drive and manage ambulance and transport vehicles in accordance with road traffic laws and company policy.
- Assist patients with varying mobility needs with compassion and professionalism.
- Complete accurate clinical documentation and deliver clear handovers to clinical colleagues or hospital staff.
- Maintain vehicle readiness, cleanliness, and infection control standards.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Valid Qualsafe Level 4 Certificate in First Response Emergency Care (FREC 4) or recognised Urgent Care Assistant equivalent qualification.
- Valid ILS certificate.
- Full UK manual driving licence (held for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points).
- Must be over 21 years old for insurance purposes.
- Physically fit to undertake manual handling tasks and patient mobility support.
- Excellent communication, time management, and customer service skills.
- Flexible approach to working patterns due to the nature of our work, including weekends. There will be opportunities to work additional hours.
- Successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check
