We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts and Tax Senior to join our professional team. Duties
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or PeopleSoft
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns for individuals and organisations, ensuring adherence to current legislation
- Support clients with financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow management
- Mentor junior team members, providing guidance on technical accounting issues and best practices
- Reconcile accounts and maintain detailed financial records for audit purposes
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, or areas for improvement
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to optimise financial management strategies
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Accounts or Tax Senior within a recognised financial services environment
- Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices
- Experience with accounts payable processes and overall financial management
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Demonstrated mentoring capabilities to support team development
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in all work undertaken
- Relevant professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent are preferred but not essential

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
