Our Purpose
Beyond Wealth Financial Management was created with a clear ambition: to build a modern financial management business where every client has a place and aspiring advisers have an opportunity.
The financial advice landscape is changing. Consumer Duty, value assessments and increasing costs of delivering traditional advice have resulted in many firms reviewing the clients they are able to serve commercially. At the same time, the profession continues to face a significant challenge in attracting, developing and creating opportunities for the next generation of financial advisers.
Beyond Wealth exists to help address both.
By combining professional financial advice, financial guidance, technology, efficient service delivery and structured adviser development, our ambition is to support clients throughout every stage of their financial lives whilst creating meaningful careers for people entering and progressing within our profession.
We do not see clients as transactions or assess the value of a relationship solely by the assets they hold today.
Today's client may be arranging their first mortgage, starting a pension or simply looking for financial guidance. Tomorrow, they may build significant assets, establish a business, approach retirement or introduce children, parents, friends and colleagues.
Our ambition is to become the trusted financial partner that remains alongside clients throughout their lives and across generations.
The Role
The Financial Adviser is responsible for delivering high-quality, holistic and compliant financial advice while developing long-term relationships with individuals and families across the UK.
Advice remains at the heart of Beyond Wealth, but the role extends beyond recommending financial products.
Our advisers are expected to understand the person behind the finances: their family, aspirations, concerns, priorities and the future they are trying to create.
Every interaction should be exceptional.
Whether a client is investing significant wealth, arranging their first mortgage, protecting their family, preparing for retirement or simply seeking financial guidance, they should experience the same professionalism, care and attention.
The Financial Adviser will therefore combine technical expertise with empathy, curiosity and outstanding communication.
The role also carries a commercial responsibility. Client opportunities and leads will be provided through Beyond Wealth and its strategic relationships, but advisers are expected to progressively develop their own professional reputation, relationships and client bank through referrals, professional connections, networking and wider Beyond Wealth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Client Advice & Financial Planning
Deliver holistic regulated financial advice across the areas for which Beyond Wealth holds the appropriate permissions, including:
- Pensions and retirement planning
- Investments
- Protection
- Mortgage planning
- Cashflow and financial planning
- Intergenerational financial planning
- Other appropriate areas of regulated advice
Conduct comprehensive client discovery meetings, fact-finds, needs analysis and suitability assessments.
Understand clients' short, medium and long-term objectives and translate these into clear and appropriate financial strategies.
Use cashflow modelling and other financial planning tools to help clients understand their financial position, choices and potential future outcomes.
Provide ongoing advice and periodic reviews, ensuring recommendations continue to reflect clients' changing circumstances, objectives and needs.
Work collaboratively with the firm's paraplanning, administration, compliance and operational functions to deliver an efficient and consistently high-quality client experience.

Financial Guidance & Vulnerable Clients
An important part of the Beyond Wealth proposition is our ability to support people who may not immediately require, or be ready for, regulated financial advice.
The Financial Adviser may therefore be required to provide structured financial guidance and cashflow support alongside regulated advice activities.
Some individuals supported by Beyond Wealth may be experiencing significant vulnerability or challenging personal circumstances.
The Adviser must be capable of:
- Recognising characteristics and indicators of vulnerability.
- Adapting communication and service delivery appropriately.
- Demonstrating patience, empathy and professional judgement.
- Ensuring clients understand the information and choices presented to them.
- Recognising when additional support or appropriate safeguards may be required.
- Maintaining appropriate professional boundaries whilst delivering a genuinely human client experience.
- Vulnerability should never result in a lower standard of service.
Client Relationships
Beyond Wealth is built around relationships rather than transactions.
The Financial Adviser will take responsibility for developing and maintaining trusted, long-term relationships with clients and their families.
This includes:
- Understanding the wider circumstances behind a client's financial objectives.
- Maintaining regular and meaningful contact.
- Identifying changes in circumstances that may create a need for advice.
- Supporting clients through significant financial and life events.
- Identifying opportunities for intergenerational planning.
- Building relationships with wider family members where appropriate.
- Delivering an experience that encourages client advocacy, retention and referrals.
We want clients to actively engage with Beyond Wealth throughout their financial lives rather than only when they have a financial product to purchase.
Regulatory & Professional Standards
The Financial Adviser will operate at all times in accordance with FCA requirements, Consumer Duty, the requirements of our Principal and the Beyond Wealth advice framework.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering consistently good client outcomes.
- Ensuring advice is suitable, clearly evidenced and appropriately documented.
- Maintaining complete and accurate client records.
- Demonstrating clear advice rationale.
- Applying Consumer Duty principles throughout the client journey.
- Identifying and appropriately supporting vulnerable customers.
- Engaging positively with file reviews, audits and compliance feedback.
- Promptly addressing any identified development requirements.
- Maintaining appropriate knowledge of regulatory, legislative, taxation and market developments.
- Conducting themselves in accordance with the standards expected under the FCA's Senior Managers and Certification Regime where applicable.
Compliance is not viewed simply as a control function within Beyond Wealth. High professional standards and good client outcomes are fundamental to the reputation we are building.
Business & Client Development
Beyond Wealth will provide client opportunities through existing and developing channels, including strategic relationships and introducers.
However, we want our advisers to establish their own professional reputation and client following.
The Financial Adviser will:
- Develop and manage a sustainable pipeline of prospective and existing clients.
- Convert firm-generated opportunities effectively and professionally.
- Generate new opportunities through client advocacy and referrals.
- Develop relationships with professional connections and introducers.
- Participate in appropriate networking and community initiatives.
- Support educational events, seminars, webinars and other client initiatives.
- Contribute to relevant educational and thought-leadership content.
- Represent Beyond Wealth professionally at external events and meetings.
- Contribute to sustainable growth in clients, assets under advice and recurring revenue.
Business development should never come at the expense of client outcomes. We believe sustainable commercial success follows exceptional client service.
Adviser Development & Competency
Beyond Wealth is committed to developing advisers rather than simply recruiting them.
Advisers who have not already achieved the required network Competent Adviser Status will undertake a structured pathway towards competency through the ASHL Academy.
Progression will be tailored to the individual.
We encourage ambition and progression at pace, but never at the expense of competence or client outcomes.
The Financial Adviser will be expected to:
- Obtain and maintain network Competent Adviser Status.
- Obtain and maintain Beyond Wealth Competent Adviser Status.
- Participate fully in supervision, observation and competency assessment.
- Complete required CPD and structured development.
- Maintain current technical knowledge.
- Actively seek and respond positively to coaching and feedback.
- Share knowledge and best practice with colleagues.
- Support less experienced advisers as their own capability develops.
Beyond Wealth will provide access to structured learning and professional development through our Academy and learning partners.
We actively support advisers wishing to pursue further professional qualifications, including progression towards Chartered Financial Planner status.
Culture & Contribution
Beyond Wealth is a growing business, and every member of the team has an opportunity to influence what it becomes.
We expect advisers to contribute beyond their individual client responsibilities.
This means:
- Building strong relationships across the wider business.
- Sharing ideas constructively.
- Supporting colleagues.
- Identifying opportunities to improve the client journey.
- Helping develop scalable and efficient ways of working.
- Embracing technology where it improves client or adviser outcomes.
- Contributing to the continuous development of the Beyond Wealth proposition.
- Supporting our ambition for Beyond Wealth to operate as a model office across the wider ASHL Group.
We value people who seek to understand the business before trying to change it.
Culture is not created through policies. It is created through trust, collaboration, accountability and consistency.

Personal Attributes
We are looking for someone who is:
Client-led - Someone who instinctively considers the client's experience and outcome, ensuring their needs remain at the centre of every conversation and decision.
Human - Able to combine technical expertise with warmth, empathy and a genuine interest in people, recognising that financial advice is ultimately about people's lives, families, ambitions and concerns.
Personable - Naturally approachable, engaging and able to make clients feel comfortable and valued from the outset.
Relatable - Able to connect with people from a wide range of backgrounds and financial circumstances, adapting their style without losing professionalism or authenticity.
A strong listener - Takes the time to genuinely understand what a client is saying, asks thoughtful questions and listens for what matters rather than simply waiting for an opportunity to respond.
Engaging - Able to build rapport, hold meaningful conversations and explain financial matters in a way that encourages clients to participate confidently in their own financial planning.
An exceptional communicator - Communicates clearly, simply and confidently, avoiding unnecessary jargon and making complex financial concepts understandable and relevant.
Emotionally intelligent - Recognises different personalities, circumstances and emotions, adapting their approach appropriately and demonstrating sensitivity where required.
Trusted - Builds confidence through consistency, transparency and reliability, doing what they say they will do and creating relationships clients feel comfortable relying upon over the long term.
Ethical - Prepared to make the right decision for the client even when it is not necessarily the easiest or most commercially attractive decision.
Ambitious - Motivated to develop professionally, build a client bank and establish a successful long-term career.
Commercially aware - Understands that a successful advice business must deliver both exceptional client outcomes and sustainable commercial performance.

Adaptable - Comfortable operating within a growing business where technology, processes and propositions will continue to evolve.
Above all, we are looking for someone clients will genuinely enjoy speaking to and trust with the important decisions in their lives. Technical capability can continue to develop throughout an adviser's career; the ability to listen, connect with people, build trust and genuinely care about the outcome is equally fundamental to becoming an exceptional Beyond Wealth adviser.
Measures of Success
Success in this role will not be measured by revenue alone.
Performance will be considered across a balanced range of measures including:
- Quality and suitability of advice.
- Client outcomes.
- Client experience and feedback.
- Client retention and advocacy.
- Compliance and file-review standards.
- Achievement and maintenance of CAS.
- Development of technical and professional capability.
- Growth and quality of the individual's client bank.
- Sustainable new business and recurring income.
- Development of professional and introducer relationships.
- Contribution to team capability and knowledge.
- Engagement with Beyond Wealth initiatives.
- Contribution to improving processes and the client proposition.
Remuneration
Salary will be agreed as part of the recruitment process and reviewed annually in accordance with ASHL Group policies.
The role also provides the opportunity to earn additional performance-related remuneration under the Beyond Wealth adviser remuneration framework.
The applicable structure and criteria will be confirmed upon commencement. Any material changes to the framework will ordinarily take effect from 1 January annually or following a minimum of 90 days' notice.
Our philosophy is straightforward: remuneration should follow success rather than be the primary reason people choose to join Beyond Wealth.
We want to create an environment where exceptional people can build successful careers, develop professionally and share appropriately in the value they help create.
Our Ambition
In the short term, our focus is on establishing exceptionally strong foundations: outstanding client outcomes, operational excellence, adviser capability, professional partnerships and a reputation for doing things properly.
As we grow, we will continue investing in technology, adviser development, our financial management proposition and new ways for clients to engage with Beyond Wealth.
Our longer-term ambition is not necessarily to become the UK's biggest financial advice business. It is to become one of the most respected.
We want Beyond Wealth to be recognised for trusted financial guidance, outstanding advice, education, client advocacy and an exceptional client experience.
We want clients to remain with us throughout their financial lives and across generations.
And we want talented people to choose Beyond Wealth because they believe in what we are building, see an opportunity to develop an exceptional career and want to play a meaningful part in creating it.
Every client has a place. Every adviser has an opportunity. Every interaction should be exceptional.
