Littlefair Care Home is an independent family run care home in the heart of East Grinstead
We require a Food/Beverage Host/Hostess to work with our friendly team here at Littlefair (evenings 5pm-8pm). 3 evenings per week (Sunday, Monday and Wednesdays) and possibility of other evenings available, to cover annual leave).
Purpose of Job:
- To serve and clear up supper (with the assistance of the Care Staff) ensuring that the residents have everything they require to eat and drink.
- To ensure dining areas remain clean and tidy for the comfort of the residents and visitors.
- To collect dirty cups, plates, cutlery and return to the kitchen
- To load dishwasher after supper and put clean dishes away leaving the kitchen and Servery clean & tidy
- To ensure that the Dining Room tables are hygienically clean, tidy and ready for use.
- To ensure that the highest of standards are maintained to meet the requirements of the Environmental Health and Safety Inspector.
- The job role consists of assisting with evening mealtimes, assisting the Care Staff with serving food. It will also include washing up and keeping the kitchen, servery and dining room clean and tidy.
Other related tasks may be allocated from time to time to ensure that the residents receive the quality meal provision.
You need to be honest, reliable, a good time keeper and of a caring nature.
