Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our team in providing essential care and support to individuals in a care home setting. The ideal candidate will assist residents with daily activities, ensuring their well-being and comfort.
Duties
- Assist residents with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, and toileting
- Support individuals with mobility around the care home
- Help in the implementation of care plans tailored to each resident's needs
- Engage in meaningful interactions with residents to promote emotional well-being
- Maintain accurate records and reports on residents' health and progress
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure a high standard of care is delivered
- Utilize IT systems for documentation and communication purposes
Qualifications
- Ability to drive or travel to different locations as required
- Proficient in English, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with care plans and procedures within a care home environment
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents and colleagues
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes
- Previous experience in home care or a similar role is advantageous
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
