Overview
Blackfort is seeking a part-time Operations Manager to oversee the running of our driving range and coffee shop near Omagh. This is a varied customer-facing role covering coffee-shop operations, retail sales, stock control, cash handling and the general presentation of the facility. The successful candidate will be trusted to take ownership of the business during their working hours, maintain high standards and provide a welcoming experience for customers.
Responsibilities
- Generate weekly performance reports for the owners.
- Organise staff rota for both ball collection and coffee shop.
- Manage stock and prices points for coffee shop.
- Take ownership of advertising and social media presence for Range and Coffee Shop.
- Communicate with suppliers to explore new avenue of revenue for the company.
Experience
- Previous supervisory or management experience.
- Organised and able to work without close supervision
- Comfortable taking responsibility and resolving routine problems.
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience in hospitality, retail, leisure or small-business supervision is desirable. Golf knowledge is helpful but not essential, as training will be provided.
- Experience with stock control, ordering or staff rotas.
- Experience promoting products through social media.
- Experience in a café, hospitality, retail or leisure business.
Further Information
Work Time: The position offers 16 to 20 guaranteed hours per week, normally worked across several days. Some evening and weekend availability may be required for special events etc.
Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
