Job Description:
Archers are a family run business and we are currently looking for Class 1 drivers to work from our depot at B78 2BP. Various contracts with low loaders and flats - moving forklifts and heavy plant/machinery across the UK. If you want a challenge and want to learn new skills (we would train you) please get in touch.
We require some overnights and this will vary dependent upon customer demand - some weeks out all week (Mon -Fri) other times less - please be prepared. We simply follow customer demand.
Driver will be allocated their own tractor unit and kit.
Requires ability to self load and secure loads, good timekeeping and communication skills. Training would be provided.
- Shifts Monday - Friday + occasional Saturdays

Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years class 1 experience, CPC, no more than 6 points for minor endorsements. Ideal you would have experience in
- General haulage
- Ability to safely secure equipment / load - very important - correct training will be provided
- Would require driver to measure loads using height stick
Good rates of pay depending upon experience
