The Role
You'll be the first voice many care providers hear from CQCLogic. Your job is to call care providers, find and reach the actual decision-maker (usually the registered manager or director), understand where they are in their CQC journey, and offer them a free trial of the platform suited to their situation. Every call is followed by a same-day email confirming what was discussed and the next step.
What You'll Do
- Make outbound cold calls to UK care providers from a target list (care homes, domiciliary care, GP practices)
- Identify and reach the registered manager, director, or other relevant decision-maker — most calls won't reach them first try
- Quickly diagnose which situation the provider is in (recent Inadequate rating, working up from Requires Improvement, or maintaining Good/Outstanding) and adjust the pitch accordingly
- Offer and activate free trials of CQCLogic's Insight Plan for qualified prospects
- Send a personalised follow-up email after every call, same day
- Log every call outcome and lead status in our CRM
- Hit weekly targets for calls made, decision-makers reached, and trials activated
What We're Looking For
- Comfortable and confident making a high volume of cold calls daily
- Strong listener who can read a situation and adapt the pitch rather than reading a script
- Self-motivated — you'll be working closely with the founder, not a large sales team, so initiative matters
- Resilient to rejection; this is a regulated, busy audience that's hard to reach
- Nice to have: experience selling into healthcare, social care, or another regulated B2B sector
- Nice to have: experience with CRM tools (we use Brevo)
This structure is designed to reward real outcomes (paying customers), not just call volume, while giving you enough security to focus on quality over the first few weeks of ramp-up.
