Registered Manager
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and motivated Registered Supported Living Manager to lead a well-established Supported Living service supporting adults living with mental health needs.

The Role
As the Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Supported Living service, ensuring it operates safely, effectively, and in full compliance with CQC regulations and relevant legislation.
The service supports people with mental health needs, with staff working closely alongside specialist teams and community-based services to monitor wellbeing, implement personalised support plans, and empower individuals on their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strong leadership and day-to-day operational management of the Supported Living service.
Ensure the service consistently delivers safe, high-quality, person-centred support.
Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding requirements, and organisational policies.
Lead, motivate, supervise, and develop a dedicated support team.
Manage recruitment, staff performance, training, and retention.
Build effective working relationships with healthcare professionals, community mental health teams, commissioners, and external agencies.
Monitor quality, manage audits, and implement continuous service improvements.
Oversee budgets, staffing levels, occupancy, and service performance.
Promote a positive, inclusive culture that empowers people to achieve greater independence and improved wellbeing.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
Previous experience as a Registered Manager, or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to take the next step.
Experience within Supported Living, mental health, or adult social care services.
A strong understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and quality standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Experience managing staff teams, service quality, and operational performance.
A person-centred approach with a genuine passion for supporting people to achieve positive outcomes.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).
