The Role
We’re looking for a driven Quantity Surveyor to join AIM in Emsworth. You’ll play a key role in managing project costs, reducing risk, and delivering value across a range of construction projects—from tender stage through to final accounts.
What You’ll Be Doing

Preparing cost estimates, tenders, and bills of quantities

Analysing project documentation and supplier/subcontractor proposals

Managing project costs, budgets, and cashflow

Carrying out risk management and value engineering

Supporting procurement strategy and project delivery

Managing valuations and subcontractor applications

Producing CVRs, forecasts, and financial reports
-
Preparing final accounts

Supporting pre-construction and tender submissions
-
Maintaining strong Health & Safety awareness
What We’re Looking For

Degree in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management (or equivalent experience)

Previous QS or similar experience

Strong estimating and cost control knowledge

Good understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations

Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills
