Due to continued growth and success, Buston and Maughan are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Electrical Contracts Manager to oversee the planning, delivery, and management of electrical projects within the social housing sector.
The Electrical Contracts Manager will take responsibility for the day-to-day operational delivery of electrical contracts. This role is focused on leading teams on site, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day operational management of electrical contracts, ensuring smooth and efficient project delivery
- Manage and support supervisors, electricians, and site teams to achieve project objectives
- Maintain a strong site presence, providing guidance and hands-on support where required
- Ensure all works are delivered on schedule, keeping jobs on track and within agreed timelines
- Monitor and uphold high standards of quality across all installations and works
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment at all times
- Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring works are completed to client expectations and addressing any issues promptly
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients
- Identify and resolve operational challenges to ensure successful project outcomes
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in managing electrical contracts within social housing
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations and industry standards
- Ability to build and maintain effective client relationships
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
