Our workshop team maintain our fleet of 195 trailers and 85 trucks to a high standard in our excellent workshop facilities we have on site. We offer the same professional service to external customers using the latest diagnostic and repair equipment.
Our Partnership with Renault Trucks Scotland has developed into a West of Scotland service point supporting the Renault brand growth. With the latest diagnostic and repair equipment we aim to deliver high standards and responsive service levels for all their customers.
With this expansion we are recruiting for an additional full time Nightshift HGV Technician to join our team. Working within our workshop and responding to callouts in a time sensitive and efficient manner. HGV experience essential and trailer experience preferable.

Responsibilities of the role include:
- Ensuring the Fleet are compliant to Roadworthiness Regulations
- Maintaining Fleet compliance through regular service inspections
- Preparing vehicles for MOT testing
- Callout ROTA covering fleet and Renault 24/7 vehicles
- Weekend shift ROTA
- Responding to defect reporting processes and carrying out rectifications on Fleet vehicles and customer vehicles
- Communication with all teams to ensure no impact on Transport Operation
Competences and Qualifications:
- High level of problem solving and team working
- Excellent communication skills and a high level of flexibility
- Ability to perform to high standards
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Repair and Maintenance (for HGV Mechanics)
- IT literate
- Previous commercial vehicles experience
- Able to demonstrate knowledge and experience as an HGV Mechanic - Essential
- LGV C+E licence beneficial not essential
- Preferred experience as a shift supervisor
