Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent customer service. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and that our clients receive their deliveries on time.
We deliver multidrop within Scotland to regular customers. No nights out.

Duties
- Operate lorries in compliance with road traffic regulations and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe working condition.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring it is secured properly for transport.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Adhere to all safety protocols while on the road and during loading/unloading procedures.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly to management.
Experience
- A valid HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle) licence is essential.
- Previous experience as a Truck Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting skills would be advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
- A good understanding of road safety regulations and best practices for transport logistics.
