We're looking for an experienced and passionate Clinical Deputy Home Manager to join a well-established 57-bed care home in Lymington. Working closely with the Home Manager and wider leadership team, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of clinical care, compliance and resident wellbeing are maintained.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced NMC Registered Nurse who is looking to develop their leadership experience while remaining closely involved in the clinical delivery of the service.

As Clinical Deputy Home Manager, you will work closely with the Home Manager to provide strong clinical leadership and oversight across the service.
Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the home
-
Providing strong clinical leadership and acting as a senior clinical point of contact
-
Ensuring high standards of nursing and personal care are consistently maintained
-
Completing and overseeing clinical audits, care plans, risk assessments and medication audits
-
Monitoring residents' health and wellbeing and ensuring appropriate clinical interventions are in place
-
Supporting the management of safeguarding, incidents, complaints and clinical investigations
-
Working closely with GPs, community nurses, hospitals and other healthcare professionals
-
Ensuring the service remains compliant with CQC regulations, policies and clinical standards
-
Supporting the recruitment, induction, supervision and development of nursing and care staff
-
Coaching and mentoring the clinical team to promote best practice
-
Supporting the Home Manager with quality improvement plans and regulatory compliance
-
Taking responsibility for the home in the Home Manager's absence
-
Building positive relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals
-
Promoting a culture of person-centred care, dignity, independence and continuous improvement

NMC Registered with an active PIN - VITAL
-
Previous experience within a clinical management or senior nursing role
-
Experience working within a residential or nursing care environment
-
Strong understanding of CQC requirements and clinical governance
-
Level 5 in Leadership for Health & Social Care or working towards this

Strong knowledge of clinical audits, medication management, safeguarding and care planning
-
Confident leading, mentoring and developing clinical and care teams
-
Excellent communication and organisational skills
-
Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care
-
Comfortable working alongside and supporting a Home Manager within a senior leadership team
