Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organised Logistics Coordinator to join our team and drive excellence in supply chain operations. In this role, you will be the central hub ensuring seamless coordination of transportation, warehousing, and materials handling activities. Your energetic approach will help optimise processes, improve efficiency, and support our commitment to delivering outstanding service. Responsibilities
- · Monitor IWMS & Mandata and keep them accurate.
- · Report and resolve nonconformities within a timely manner.
- · Book in deliveries, deal with damages, process customer orders, book in collections for hauliers.
- · Ensure all international export jobs run smoothly by exchanging paperwork with customers quickly and printing the appropriate labels.
- · Maintain client KPIs, deal with complaints and effectively complete traceability exercises.
- · Answer client queries efficiently and effectively via email or phone calls.
- · Manage all customer invoicing and keep it up to date, ensuring accuracy at all times.
- · Manage relationship with our customers.
- · Process customer queries within a timely manner.
- · Carry out regular warehouse walk-arounds to review stock holdings and observe for any operational/system issues
- · Plan daily workload effectively for the warehouse and be mindful of their workload.
- · Demonstrate excellent and professional communication skills.
- · Share inbound GRN files and delivery notes with customers within their / our KPIs.
- · Negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best outcome for the business.
- · Identify improvement points within the warehouse and help to innovate solutions.
- · Have a strong background of using systems and help to suggest improvements / solutions..
Experience
- Proven experience in a face paced office environment.
- Hands-on experience with transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and ERP platforms such as Indigo or similar systems.
- Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures is preferrable but not essential
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
- A strong background of office work within a face paced and busy office, essential basic office skills are required and a high level of customer service skills.
