Salary & Benefits
Hourly rate: £16.50 per hour, equivalent to £36.234.32 per annum. 3 on 3 off rotating shift pattern.
Performance bonus: up to £4,800.00 per year, £400 per month.
Maximum annual earnings potential: up to £41,034.32

What you'll do
- Provide emotional support, care, and encouragement to children and young people
- Help with daily routines, education, meals, appointments, and activities
- Support positive behaviour, structure, and independence
- Build trusting relationships through consistent and caring support
- Work as part of a team to create a safe and nurturing home environment
- Follow safeguarding procedures and contribute to care planning
- Complete records and reports accurately and professionally
What we're looking for
Essential:
- A genuine passion for working with children and young people ages 8-18
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and supportive in challenging situations
- Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep ins
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- 2 years experience working in care, support work, or with young people
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or willingness to work towards it
- Working towards or holding a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare is strongly desirable
- Experience supporting children with emotional and behavioural needs
