Studio Admin Assistant | West Edinburgh (EH11) |
Office-based role | 3 days / 13+ hours per week - potential for increased hours |
Starting at £12.71 p/h
Description
BrightPath Piano is looking for an organised and attentive Studio Administrative Assistant to join our team and help support our growing piano school; providing piano lessons to 300+ students across two studios.
We are offering this position for 13+ hours per week across three days at our West Edinburgh studio (EH11 4DF). This role will also involve supporting our Livingston studio, with the majority of this work carried out remotely, alongside occasional in-person assistance as needed. Hours will grow for the right candidate. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with some prior experience (though not essential) to develop and refine their administrative skills in a systemised yet creative environment.
About Us
Frazer Mitchell started what began as ‘Livingston Piano lessons’ in 2011. He is passionate about teaching in a way that minimises the obstacles learners still too often face when attending lessons which are ‘overly traditional’. A small expert team was then united to create BrightPath Piano, consisting of an operations manager, six additional teachers, and various teaching assistants, who have helped the business to grow. BrightPath Piano is passionate about promoting musical confidence to young people and adults, by maintaining an efficient workflow and communication standards. We are excited to be increasing our administrative staff and opening our new location in Edinburgh.
In order to provide the highest quality services to our customers, we offer regular and often complementary events. These include supplementary workshops, informal showcase events at our studio, workshops for parents, and yearly summer camps. We also organise quarterly student showcases at the Music Box Edinburgh College for slightly larger audiences. There would not be an immediate requirement for our chosen candidate to attend these events, though this may subsequently be encouraged for our larger scale events in order to gather content for our social media platforms.
We facilitate mandatory monthly team meetings at 10am on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. We also encourage regular opportunity for each team member to check in with our studio owner, promoting growth and advancement within our organisation. The chosen candidate for this position would also have the opportunity to meet with our operations manager frequently.
