Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Duty Manager to join our team in the hospitality industry at The Brighton Hotel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel management and guest services, with excellent leadership and supervisory skills. Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Manage and support the team in delivering high-quality service standards
- Oversee human resources functions such as scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Supervise daily hotel operations during assigned shifts.
- Conduct regular property walkthroughs to monitor cleanliness, safety, and service levels.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
- Maintain a welcoming environment for guests and resolve any issues that may arise
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- From time to time, to cover night shifts to ensure operational continuity during holidays and unscheduled absences.
-Complete incident and accident report as required.
-Ensure proper cash handling and security procedures are followed.
-Authorise refunds, room moves, rate adjustments, and service recovery gestures within policy limits.
-Monitor occupancy levels and assist with revenue optimisation in coordination with Front Office and Reservations.
Skills:
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality management role
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in multiple languages preferred
- Ability to handle challenging situations with tact and diplomacy
- Proficient in managing guest services operations effectively
- Bilingual proficiency is advantageous for this role
