SGE Scaffolding is an established and growing scaffolding company based in Kilmarnock, delivering scaffolding services to sites across Scotland.
We pride ourselves on providing a reliable, professional service and are looking for an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver with a valid Hiab ticket to join our team.
The Role
As a Class 2 HGV Driver with SGE Scaffolding, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation, delivery and collection of scaffolding materials to and from sites across Scotland.
This is a hands-on role requiring astrong understanding of load safety, and the ability to work reliably and professionally. An element of scaffolding knowledge and experience would also be benefical.
Key Responsibilities
Transport scaffolding materials safely to and from sites across Scotland.
Load, secure, transport and unload scaffolding equipment and materials.
Operate the vehicle-mounted Hiab crane safely and efficiently.
Carry out deliveries and collections in line with agreed schedules.
Ensure all loads are correctly secured and transported in accordance with relevant regulations.
Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects or issues.
Maintain a clean, safe and professional working environment.
Liaise professionally with site teams, colleagues and customers.
Follow all company health and safety procedures.
Travel to various scaffolding sites throughout Scotland as required.
Requirements
Full UK Class 2 HGV licence.
Valid Hiab ticket/certificate.
Previous scaffolding experience preferred but not essential.
Experience transporting scaffolding materials is highly desirable.
Good knowledge of load securing and vehicle safety.
Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel to sites across Scotland.
Good communication and professional customer service skills.
