ABOUT THE ROLE
SFR Solicitors is seeking an experienced Corporate Employment Lawyer to independently manage and advise on UK employment law matters end-to-end. The role offers a flexible full-time or part-time remote working opportunity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage end-to-end UK employment law matters, including contracts, policies, grievances, disciplinary procedures, redundancies and terminations.
- Advise on UK employment legislation, employee rights and employer obligations.
- Draft and review employment contracts, settlement agreements, policies and HR documentation.
- Support employers with workplace disputes, performance management and employee relations matters.
- Ensure employment practices remain compliant with current UK legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct legal research and provide clear, commercially practical advice to clients.
- Liaise directly with clients and internal stakeholders and manage matters independently.
REQUIREMENTS
- Qualified UK Solicitor with 3–4+ years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Strong practical experience in UK employment law and corporate advisory work.
- Excellent knowledge of UK employment legislation and case law.
- Strong drafting, analytical, communication and client-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage matters from inception to completion.
