Join My Local Bobby as a Relief Mobile Community Safety Officer. This is an ideal opportunity for people who want flexible work and the ability to take on shifts around other commitments, while still making a genuine difference in their local community.
As a relief officer, you’ll support our team by covering shifts when required, including planned cover and short-notice requirements.
What You'll Do:
As a Community Safety Officer, you will:
- Carry out regular patrols of residential streets, estates and communal areas.
- Provide a visible presence to help deter crime and anti-social behaviour.
- Speak with residents, listen to concerns and provide reassurance.
- Identify and report issues such as anti-social behaviour, damage, graffiti, fly-tipping and other community concerns.
- Build positive relationships with residents, local businesses and community partners.
- Record and report incidents and intelligence appropriately.
- Help identify problems early and support practical solutions within the community.
You’ll be the eyes and ears of the community. Visible, approachable and there to listen, report concerns and help make local neighbourhoods safer.
