Duties
- Assist dentists during various dental treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials, maintaining strict hygiene standards
- Provide compassionate patient care, including explaining procedures and addressing concerns with clear communication
- Manage reception duties such as scheduling appointments, confirming patient details, and handling patient inquiries
- Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and data security
- Process payments, update patient information, and manage correspondence efficiently
- Support infection control protocols and sterilization processes to uphold health and safety regulations
Skills
- Strong patient care skills with a warm, empathetic approach to all patients
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with patients and team members
- Proven experience in nursing or dental assistance, with knowledge of dental procedures preferred
- Proficiency in IT systems for record-keeping, appointment scheduling, and administrative tasks
