Largigi Ltd operates Henleys Bar in the seaside town of Lyme Regis, Dorset. Henleys is in a beautiful location facing the sea, with wonderful views and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. It is a seasonal business, and during the winter we hold live music nights, quizzes and other events to keep the bar lively and welcoming.
Job Summary
We are looking for two responsible, dependable and experienced people for long-term paid positions starting on 7 September 2026.
One position mainly involves bar service and looking after customers. The other mainly involves preparing simple pizzas. Both applicants will also help organise and promote our winter music nights, quizzes and other events.
Applications are welcome from two people wishing to work together, as well as individual applicants. We welcome applications from people living outside the area who would like to relocate to Lyme Regis.
Duties
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
- Prepare and serve pizzas
- Take customer orders and payments
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Keep the bar, pizza preparation area and customer areas clean and tidy
- Follow food hygiene and safety requirements
- Help organise and promote music nights, quizzes and other events
- Help create a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere for customers
- Support each other during busy periods
Requirements
- Previous bar, hospitality or food preparation experience
- A responsible and professional attitude
- Reliable with good timekeeping
- Confident working independently
- Friendly and comfortable dealing with customers
- Able to remain calm and organised during busy periods
- Available for regular evening and weekend shifts
- Willing to help plan and promote events during the winter
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
