About the Role
Bluewhite is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Packer to join our warehouse team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role is essential in ensuring that customer orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately while maintaining the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, preparing both UK and international shipments while ensuring every order is packed to company and carrier standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick customer orders accurately using picking lists or warehouse systems.
- Pack products securely to minimise the risk of damage during transportation.
- Prepare shipments for domestic and international courier collections.
- Apply shipping labels and shipping documentation accurately.
- Carry out quality checks before dispatch to ensure the correct products and quantities have been packed.
- Ensure packaging complies with company standards and customer requirements.
- Prepare, wrap and label pallets when required.
- Report damaged, missing or incorrect stock to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures where applicable.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Follow all company procedures and Health & Safety regulations.
- Assist with general warehouse duties during busy periods.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous warehouse or packing experience is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physically fit and capable of safely lifting and moving packages.
- Right to work in the UK.
